DONATION RETURN POLICY
Donation Policies
Your generous contribution to H3O supports year-round programs and initiatives. As good stewards of your donations, we follow clear guidelines in processing your gifts.
Gift Policy Standards
All donations to H3O supports the Foundation's mission of providing disabled and disadvantaged American Heroes (e.g. Veterans, Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters and Paramedic/EMT professionals) with the opportunity to experience the healing effects of fresh air and peaceful outdoor activities through fully assisted hunting expeditions accessible to heroes with many different disabilities.
H3O manages a number of fundraising initiatives with local Programs to make every donated dollar go further to support our Heroes. We will carefully consider the needs of the foundation and will use your gift where we determine it is most needed. When processing each gift, we will follow documented H3O business rules and agreements, the Donor’s Bill of Rights, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles standards.
H3O will not accept any restrictions on use of donations less than $10,000; however, if you specifically request at the time of donation that funds be distributed to an accredited Program (if established) we will honor such request so long as distribution does not conflict with other foundation policies. If H3O cannot honor a donor’s designation request for a gift of $10,000 or more, the gift will be forwarded to the appropriate local Program or returned to the donor. Third parties to a donation may not change the original designation of a gift. H3O may refuse any gift that does not sufficiently benefit the foundation, is in conflict with the foundations mission, puts the reputation of our Heroes or the Foundation at risk or is prohibited by law.
For donations made using the website's donate now button, refunds are available for 15 days after a donation is processed. For donations made using any other method, learn whether refunds are available by getting in touch with the H3O by calling 520-227-4350.
